Jonathan Kerr
Dr. Jonathan Kerr i England har hittat 16 avvikelser hos halter av mRNA (messenger RNA) hos ME patienter. Dessa avvikelser relaterar till immuno, neurologiska, mitokondrie, apotosis och peroxisome. Dr. Kerr är väldigt optimistisk och hoppas kunna ta fram ett diagnostiskt test. Han tror även det finns möjlighet att hitta ett sätt att bota/lindra ME patienter. Hans första försök på läkemedel är Interferon-beta.

ME konferens i London 2006 - DVDs tillgängliga
Det var en ME konferens i London i maj 2006 som nu finns dokumenterat på DVD. Det är tre DVD skivor av föredragen samt en DVD med transparanger och annat. Jag har sett på detta material och det är verkligen toppen. Jag rekommenderar det starkt. Försök att ta detta fina tillfälle att få en uppdaterad och modern bild av vad ME handlar om. Föredrag av Dr. Cheney om diastolisk dysfunktion hos ME patienter
Det finns ett tre timmar långt föredrag av Dr. Cheney i USA som har en teori om att ME patienter påverkas av diastolisk dysfunktion hos hjärtat. Han säger något i början av föredraget att ME patienter är en av de mest funtionsnedsatta patienterna. Bland annat värre än cancer och HIV. Under första timmen berättar han även lite om hur sjukdomen ME yttrar sig. Det är ett bra komplement till de men livlösa beskrivningarna i textform i bland annat kriteriebeskrivningarna.
